Why Homeowners Call Us

Most people call us because something in the yard is not right and they want to know why. We tell you the cause, the options and what moves the price, in plain words.

We explain the cause first

A brown patch can be chinch bugs, a broken sprinkler head or plain shade. We figure out which one before we suggest anything, so you are not paying to fix the wrong problem.

Options, not a single upsell

When there is more than one way to solve something, we lay them out. Sometimes the answer is a repair, sometimes a replacement, and sometimes it is leaving it alone for a season. You pick.

Line-item estimates

Your estimate lists the work, the materials and the quantities separately. If you want to trim the scope to fit a budget, you can see exactly what changes.

We tell you when to wait

Some jobs go better a few weeks later, like sod laid once the rains settle in. If timing would save you money or give a better result, we say so, even if it means booking the work later.

We clean up before we leave

Clippings get blown off drives and walks, debris gets hauled away, and ruts from equipment get raked out. You should be able to use your yard the evening we finish.

Landscaping Services for Your Yard

Most of our work falls into three groups. There is the routine care that keeps a yard healthy, like lawn care, mulch and beds, and seasonal cleanup. There are installs that change how your home looks and works, such as landscape design, sod installation, irrigation and hardscape installation. And there is the heavier work: tree trimming and removal, palm tree pruning and removal, stump grinding, bamboo removal and property cleanup.

    Lawn Care

Regular mowing, edging, seasonal feeding and weed and pest checks for St. Augustine, Bahia and Zoysia lawns, with a plain answer on what your grass needs.

  • Landscaper in a cap points out a new curved planting bed with palms, tropical plants and a flagstone path to a homeowner, with paver stacks beside a stucco home

    Landscape Design

A scaled plan, plant list and line-item estimate for your yard, built around sun, drainage and how much upkeep you want to take on.

  • Mulch and Beds

Weeds pulled by the root, crisp edges cut and fresh mulch spread at a depth that protects your plants instead of smothering them.

  • Irrigation

Sprinkler repair, zone tune-ups, drip lines for beds and new systems, with a clear answer on what is wrong and what it will take to fix.

  • Seasonal Cleanup

Leaf removal, bed and shrub cleanup, and storm-season prep that resets your yard a few times a year, with the debris hauled away.

  • Sod Installation

We strip worn or weedy turf, grade the soil and lay fresh sod matched to your yard's sun, shade and watering.

  • Hardscape Installation

Patios, walkways, pool decks and low retaining walls built on a properly compacted base, with drainage planned before the first paver goes down.

  • Tree Trimming and Removal

Pruning that keeps trees healthy and clear of your roof, plus careful removal when a tree is dead, dangerous or in the wrong place.

  • Palm Tree Pruning and Removal

We trim dead fronds, seed pods and loose boots without over-cutting, and we take down palms that are dying, diseased or in the wrong spot.

  • Stump Grinding

We grind leftover stumps below the soil line, deal with surface roots and leave the spot ready for sod, mulch or a new planting.

  • Bamboo Removal

We cut bamboo down, dig out the spreading rhizome mat underneath and haul it away, so the stand stops creeping into your yard.

  • Property Cleanup

We clear overgrown yards, vine-covered fences and old debris piles, haul everything off and leave your property ready for mowing, planting or sale.

Yard Work Done the Way We Would Want It

We run this company the way we would want yard work done at our own homes: show up when we say we will, explain what we see, and leave the place cleaner than we found it.

Most of our customers are homeowners who want a healthy lawn, tidy beds and trees that are not a worry every time a storm rolls through. Some call for one job, like a stump or a stand of bamboo. Others have us handle the yard through the year.

Either way, you get the same thing: a clear look at what is going on, your options laid out, and a price you understand before we begin.

How a Job Runs From Call to Cleanup

It starts with a phone call and ends with a yard you can walk across. Here is what happens in between.

  1. 1

You call and describe the problem

Tell us what you are seeing and what you would like done. We ask a few questions and set a time to come out.

  2. 2

We walk the property with you

On-site, we look at the lawn, beds, irrigation and trees, and point out what we find. If something is causing the issue, like a clogged zone or poor drainage, we show you.

  3. 3

    You get a written estimate

We list the work in plain terms with materials and quantities, plus any options worth considering. There is no pressure to decide on the spot.

  4. 4

We do the work and clean up

Our crew arrives on the scheduled day, protects walkways and beds near the work area, finishes the job and hauls away debris. We walk the result with you before we leave.

What Drives the Cost of Landscaping Work

No two yards are alike, so we give you a number after we have walked yours. Below are the factors that matter most. Once you know them, your estimate will make sense line by line.

Your estimate is free and written out item by item after we see the property. If anything changes once work starts, we talk with you before doing more.

Size of the area
Square footage of lawn, linear feet of bed edge, cubic yards of mulch. Most jobs scale fairly directly with how much ground we cover.
Access to the yard
A wide gate lets equipment roll straight to the backyard. A narrow side yard or a fenced pool area means more hand work and more trips with a wheelbarrow.
What is underneath
Old sod, buried roots, landscape fabric from a past project or compacted fill all have to come out or be dealt with before new work goes in.
Materials you choose
Pine bark costs differently than rubber or river rock. Pavers, plant size and sod variety all change the total too.
Tree size and location
A tall tree leaning over a roof or power line takes more rigging and care than one in an open yard. Debris volume and haul-off matter as well.
Timing and season
In Central Florida, sod and plantings take hold best with steady summer rain, while some tree work is easier in the drier months. We will tell you if waiting a few weeks would help.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Something not covered here? (407) 972-1255

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. We come out, walk your property, and give you a written estimate at no charge. There is no obligation to book the work.

Why is my lawn turning brown in patches?

The usual causes are insects like chinch bugs, a sprinkler zone that is not reaching the area, fungus after heavy rain, or too much shade. Each one needs a different fix. We check the soil, the grass blades and the irrigation coverage so the answer is based on what is actually there.

Should I repair my lawn or replace it with new sod?

If most of the grass is healthy and the problem has a clear cause, repair and better care usually make sense. If weeds or dead areas cover a large share of the yard, new sod is often faster and cheaper over time. We will tell you which one we would choose and why.

Can I pay for a bigger project over time?

Yes. You can finance amounts as large as $100,000, with terms anywhere from two to twelve years, and there is no penalty if you pay it off early. Homeowners most often use it for landscape design, hardscape installation and full sod jobs. Bring it up during your estimate and we will go over it.

Will you damage my yard with equipment?

We plan the route equipment takes and use plywood or mats where the ground is soft. Some marks in turf can happen with heavy tree or stump work, and we tell you that up front. We rake out ruts and clean up before we leave.

How do I know you will not oversell me?

We show you what we found and explain the cause before we suggest a fix. When a small repair will do, we say so. The estimate lists every item, so you can drop anything you do not want.

Do you take care of the debris from tree work?

Yes. Limbs are chipped or hauled, and stump grindings can be removed or left to fill the hole, whichever you prefer. We tell you which is included in your estimate.
